Son of Henry Arthur Veron and Margaret Agatha Veron nee Killeen of 'Mimosa', Guildford, NSW.

Brother of Charles Lytton Veron who returned to Australia on 8 September 1919 having served with the 4th Field Artillery Brigade

Commenced return to Australia on 14 December 1918 aboard HT Burma disembarking on 29 January 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane
