Son of Thomas Charles and Mary McHardy RAWLINGS of Nichol's Point, Mildura, Vic. 

Thomas was the first Senior Prefect & first Captain of the High School Cricket Team.

Private Rawlings, who enlisted in April two years ago, and hardly 18 years of age, when he  joned, but was so desirous of doing his duty to the Empire that his parents did not stand in his way. He was with the 38th Battalion, and was at latest advices, despatch rider to that company. The deepest sympathy is felt for his parents and relatives in their loss.
