William was an Able Seaman on board the Hochelaga in 1860 when he arrived in Sydney, NSW. Martha arrived with her parents on board the Caribou in 1859. William was a Mariner in Sydney in 1876 when he married Martha in Balmain. They settled at Rozelle in Balmain, Sydney where William worked as a Mariner. Martha died in 1915 and William in 1919.

David was a Blacksmith when he enlisted in the AIF in 1914. He served with 2nd Infantry Battalion as a Farrier and Lance Corporal (Service No:893) and was Discharged in January 1919.
