Descendants of George Pearce

George Pearce is the son of Louisa Pearce and Frank Sinclair., Louisa's parents being Alfred and Louisa Pearce.. I am Sue Brown and my mother Mavis Bennett nee Powell was also a grandchild of Alfred and Louisa Pearce, her parents being James Powell and Alice Pearce.. (NB Alfred and Louisa also had a daughter named Louisa)

George is my mother Mavis' cousin and therefore my second cousin. The two girls in the photo are my grand-daughters Maddie and Natalie who visited his grave on the 100th anniversary of Villers Bretonneux.

Descendants of Goerge Pearce visit gravesite

George Pearce was a cousin to my birth mother, Mavis Bennett (nee Powell).

Descendants of George Pearce visited his grave in April 2018, during the commemorations for the 100th Anniversary of Villers Bretonneux. The attached photo shows them laying a small cross and poppy on his gravestone.
