"Word has been received in Oaklands that Pte Samuel Wilson, son, of Mr. and Mrs. S. Wilson, has been killed in action in France. This is the second son who has given his life for his country, for his elder brother, James, was killed about 18 months ago. Pte S. Wilson was under 20 years of age, and enlisted with his younger brother, Bert, after his brother James was killed. Great sympathy is expressed for the bereaved parents in their great loss."
