Real name said to be Frederick Donald Kelly service number 2170 but served as Frederick James Cooper. 

When re-enlisting in 1916 he gave his name as Frederick James Cooper and his mother as Alice Cooper of Fergie Street, Fitzroy North, Victoria

Son of Donald Charles Kelly and Clara Kelly nee Leach of McKean Road,  Fitzroy North, Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 22 July 1917 aboard HT Nestor disembarking on 24 September 1917

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1919c Frederick married Elizabeth Meyer in Victoria
