"THE LATE PRIVATE F. E. BLIESCHKE
Regret was expressed at Murray Town when it was learned that Private Frederick K. Blieschke had died of wounds in France on January 13. He was born near Melrose, and was the third son of Mr. Henry Blieschke. He was a manly young fellow, and was highly esteemed by those who knew him." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 17 Feb 1917 (nla.gov.au)
