Husband of Elsie May Symons nee Hore of Victoria Street, Alexandria, NSW formerly of Morehead Street, Waterloo, NSW. Alfred and Elsie married in Sydney during 1914c. Father of Samuel Alfred Ernest Yates and  step father of Leslie Walter Yates
