Parents: Henry William (d. 19 December 1922, aged 44; bu. Bendigo Cemetery) and Nanny Williams FONE (d. 5 July 1956, aged 79; bu. Bendigo Cemetery).
Father: 3815 Pte Henry William FONE, 5th Bn, returned to Australia, 8 November 1918 (d. 19 December 1922);
Uncle: 2819 Pte Henry TRAHAIR, 7th Bn, died of wounds, 7 May 1917.
