RYAN.—In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Sergeant William Polding Ryan, killed in action in France, July 19, 1916 ; aged 20 years and 3 months.
A young life nobly ended,
In Fleurbaix they have laid him,
Our soldier so brave and so true,
He fought tor freedom and liberty,
And died 'neath the Red, White and Blue
Inserted by his sorrowing parents,
brothers and sisters, Crystal Creek.
