 Nelson Horace George was an unmarried Australian man who had blue-eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion. He was born in Marleston South Australia, and went to Adeliade High School for his education. When he was 21 he joined the AIF in 1915 on 1st October 1915.  

11th of April 1917 he was wounded in action with a gunshot to the hand and was sent to hospital in England.  he was discharged on the 21st of June to the No 2 Command Depot.

He returned to Australia, arriving in Adelaide 18th February 1919.

He died at the age of 75 and was buried in the Centennial Park Adelaide, South Australia.
