Son of John MULDEARY and Margaret MULDEARY nee BERKERY, Victoria Lane, Eaglehawk, Vic.

PRIVATE J. MULDEARY
News was received in Eaglehawk yesterday that Private J. Muldeary, son of the late Mr. John Muldeary, of Victoria-lane, Eaglehawk, had been wounded in France. Private Muldeary, who is 26 years of age, left Australia on the 25th November. For some time he was employed at Williams's United mine at Eaglehawk, but subsequently he left to take up a  position on the railways at Port Augusta. Soon after his arrival at the last-mentioned place, however he volunteered for active service, but on being rejected retumed to Eaglehawk, where he again offered his services and was accepted. His brother, Stephen, is at prescent fighting in France.

MULDEARY. - Killed in action 4th October, 1917 Private J. Muldeary, dearly loved brother of Annie, Mary, Kate, Will, Peter Jack, Steve (on active service).
