Son of Jonathon ALLEN and Alice Mary GRAY.

Brother of Beatrice Alice WALSH of Sefton Park, Adelaide, South Australia,  and Hilda.

William Gordon Allen enlisted in Adelaide, without his parents consent at the age of 20.

He was died of gun shot wounds to the head less than 6 months after emabarking, less than 2 months after arriving in France and less than 2 weeks after being treated for mumps.
