Biography

1755 Private James Gordon Stevens, 25th Battalion, of Warwick, Qld. A farmer prior to enlisting on 20 May 1915, Pte Stevens embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Shropshire on 20 August 1915. He died in France on 29 July 1916.
