"HOPPER, Hugh (late 10th Field Engineers First A.I.F.), of 11 Coward street, Footscray - On December 28 at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, beloved husband of the late Edith, and loving uncle of Nell (Mrs Parkinson) and Alf and Ellen Currow, aged 66 years - Lest we forget" - from the Melbourne Argus 30 Dec 1953 (nla.gov.au)
