Later changed to his wife Annie Venn nee Coulson of the War Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds, Yorkshire. Charles and Annie married on 14 November 1916 in the Mill Street Chapel, Newport, England. Rev. David D. Joseph of the Congregational Church officiated.
