"OBITUARY.

The death of Mr. William James McDonald occurred at Maryborough last night. The deceased gentleman was borne in Ipswich and was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. McDonald, of Peak Crossing, lpswich. He answered the call of the Great War, serving the full term of four and a half years, thereby receiving the long service medal the Anzac Star. He was one of those at the memorable landing at Gallipoli. The late Mr. McDonald had been residing with his sister. Mrs. A. Hulme. He is survived by three sisters. Mesdames G. Anderson (Brisbane), A. Hulme (Maryborough) and W. Spence (Pt. Macquarie, N.S.W.). One brother, Mr. A. McDonald pre-deceased him about three weeks ago, also his mother three years ago, and a sister, Mrs. Harris, who passed away some years ago.
