Private Leonard William Riches

He was my Great Uncle. He and his brother Harrold, both joined the AIF in 1917 at the ages of 19 and 18. My grandfather Harrold being the eldest. Leonard, unfortunately was killed on the 25th April 1918, in action and buried in France. My Grandfather was wounded by gunshot in both legs and then in the heel. He was discharged in 1920.
Two great men who served there country and one was taken too soon.
We Will Remember Them.
