Albert Robert DENT
Bert and his brother Fred both enlisted in 1918, departed for overseas from Adelaide, but War was declared over and their ship turned and returned to Port.
Bert joint the AIF on 7 Sep 1918, No 62622. Mitcham Camp. Was living in Adelaide at the time. Had spent 4 years in Senior Cadets training by the 64th Inf Melbourne. To the 6th Gen Refts "L." U.K. Embarked 22 Oct 1918 HMAT A36 "Boonah." Troopship recalled recalled from South Africa, Disembarked 4 MD 20 Dec 1918. Adelaide. Discharged 4th MC 29 Jan 1919.
