Died in the hospital on Thursday morning, Charles Lee, aged 50. Deceased was well known in this district. At one time a member of the firm of Lee Bros., he managed a branch  store at Corfield, which, after the completion of the railwayy, was transferred to Winton, to premises which were situated on the west side of the Winton Hotel, but have since been removed. He enlisted for service in the great war, and was in the llth Light Horse. Returning to Winton since the cessation of hostilities he took up station work until about a  fortnight ago when he was admitted to the hospital. Charlie was a man who had many friends and no enemies. The funeral, which took place on Thursday evening, the Rev W. H. B.  Corrie performing the last rites, was attended by members of the R.S. and I.L.A., and other citizens.
