Son of George Lester Vidito and Eliza Williams formerly Vidito nee Potter of Port Adelaide, SA later of Leadenhall Street, Port Adelaide, SA.

Brother of Archibald Vidito who returned to Australia on in June 1917 having served with the 43rd Battalion.

Commenced return to Australia on 13 February 1917 aboard HT Ulysses disembarking on 12 April 1917
