Husband of Florence Cottrell of albert Street, Seymour, Victoria. Son of David Edmund and Mary Catherine Cottrell of Bairnsdale, Victoria
Pte. William N. Cottrell, son of Mr and Mrs D. E. Cottrell, Bairnsdale, was kiiled in France on the 9th June last. He was a native of Glenroy, New South Wales. Enlisting at Bairnsdale, where he had resided for five years, he sailed for England in June, 1916, and crossed over to France in November. He was married, and within five months of being 29 years of age.
