He was 29 and the son of James and Susanah Adams, of 102, Church St., Connah's Quay, Flintshire, Wales.

He is remembered on the memorial to those men of Connah's Quay who died in the First World War, which takes the form of an engraved marble panel, inside St. Mark's Church.
