23 Oct 1914: Involvement British Forces (All Conflicts), Private, 1025, ANZAC / Gallipoli, Bernard was wounded in the right leg and had it amputated in Malta at St Andrews hospital on 27/7/1915. He was then transferred to to ST Patricks England 15/8/1915 He was discharged 23/10/1916.
