Son of Arthur and Mary NICHOLS
ARTHUR MICHAEL NICHOLLS who was killed in action at Bullecourt on 3rd May 1917 was the son of Mr. Arthur Nicholls. He was born in 1893 and was at the School in 1906 and 1907. After leaving school he spent three years in the service of the A.M.P. Society, Melbourne, and then having passed his examinations for an accountant, entered the service of Mr. E. J. Eagerty.
He enlisted on 3rd June 1916 and reached Salisbury Plain in November of that year, being a member of the 23rd Battalion.
