HEROES OF THE GREAT WAR

DUNN.—In loving memory of my dear brother-in-law, Signaller Terence Dunn, who died of sick-ness, at Keswick Hospital, June 18, 1917.

With patience great he bore his pain,

To wait for cure was all in vain;

But God alone, Who knows best,

Did ease his pain and gave him rest.

—Inserted by his loving sister-in-law, G. Dunn.

DUNN—In sad but loving memory of our dear brother and uncle, Terence, who died at Military Hospital, Keswick, June 18, 1917, after 18 months' active service, late 11th light Horse.

This is the day, so sad to recall,

This is the day of remembrance to us all;

But your cheerful face and happy smile

Are pleasant to recall,

And so you died a hero's death,

Beloved and respected by all.

You did your bit, dear brother,

Twas noble, brave, and true,

To give your life for others,

Your King and country, too.

Sweet is the memory he left behind

Of a life that was manly, sweet, and kind.

His duty nobly done.—Inserted by his fond brothers, Fred (late, A.I.F.) and Will.

DUNN.—In sad but loving memory of our dear son and brother, 925. Signaller Terence Dunn, 11th light Horse, who died at Keswick Hospital of sickness contracted whilst serving abroad, June 18, 1917, aged 22 years 3 mouths.

Always happy and cheerful,

With a heart that knew no fear,

He stood to face life's battles

For the ones he loved so dear.

No space of time, no lapse of years

Can dim our loved one's past,

A loving memory holds it dear,

Affection holds it fast.

Sadly missed.— Inserted by his loving parents and sister, Alice Dunn, Dry Creek.
