100 years ago on September 26, 1917 Private Herbert John MEDHURST 31st battalion - 8th Reinforcement was killed in action at Polygon Wood.

He fought bravely. Unfortunately he has no grave but his name is remembered on the Menin Gate.
Now his name is included in digital Passchendaele Archives and his whole file was sent to me and his family.

I’m French and I’m very proud to represent Herbert John MEDHURST with all his family, who are my Australian friends.
