Add my storyBiography
"...3007 Private Kenneth Leslie Wigglesworth, 32nd Battalion. A gardener from Sturt, South Australia, prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 6th Reinforcements from Adelaide on 11 April 1916 aboard HMAT Aeneas for Egypt. The battalion relocated to the Western Front, France during June 1916. Pte Wigglesworth was hospitalised for 7 weeks during October and November 1916 due to a leg infection and was wounded in action on 27 November 1916, the day he rejoined his battalion. Due to the nature of his injuries he was evacuated to England for prolonged treatment for a penetrating chest wound. Pte Wigglesworth was granted furlough in England in early August 1917 but on returning to duty his condition deteriorated and he died of a diaphragmatic hernia in the Princess Christian Hospital, Weymouth, and is buried in the Melcombe Regis Cemetery. He was aged 26 years. His older brother, 3208A Pte Walter Russell Wigglesworth, 50th Battalion, was killed in action on 16 August 1916." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
