Nurse Imlay
Nurse Imlay was the nurse living 2 doors up from Nurse Bass at 13 Inkerman Street Mosman NSW 2088.
I knew Nurse Imlay well, she was a lovely lady and her married name was Gooch.
She has lots of interesting stories and memorabilia from WW1 in her lounge room.
Nurse Imlay's nursing dress is displayed at the Australian War Memorial in the reception area.

Miss Bass
I met Nurse Bass in 1973 in her house at 15 Inkerman Street Mosman.
She was a lovely lady who has plenty of stories to tell regarding World War 1.
In 1973 she moved to Ourimbah Road Mosman, on the north side between Roseberry and Bond Streets.
Under her kitchen floor in Inkerman Street were newspapers from many decades ago.
There was also another WW1 nurse living two doors up at13 Inkerman Street.
