Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of John and Mary Elizabeth MACNEE

Kenneth was born in North Fitzroy about 23 years ago and was left an orphan at 10 years of age.  He lived for 10 years with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Mitchell of Whittlesea.  Recently he spent two years at Broome, in North West Australian, and enlisted 18 months ago.  He was killed in action in September.  Kenneth was an active worker in this Church and was a member of the choir.   He was a fine Christian character, humble, unshelfish, honourable, and always ready to do a good turn; a splendid type of young Australian manhood.
