Son of Francis J.H. Verinder and Elizabeth Verinder nee Fleming of McFarlane Street, West Brunswick, Victoria.
Brother of George Francis Verinder who was killed in action on 24 April 1918 while serving with the 14th Field Artillery Brigade. Buried in the Ribemont Communual Cemetery Extension. Plot 111, Row A, Grave 4
