Husband of Maria Uttley nee Carter of Argyle Street, Fawkner, Victoria. Irvin and Maria married during 1912c in Victoria. Father of Ruth Catherine Uttley and Miranda Alice Uttley
Commenced return to Australia on 22 January 1917 aboard HT Euripides disembarking on 21 February 1917 at Sydney for onward travel to Melbourne.
