6 Mar 1917:	Honoured Military Cross, For conspicuous gallantry in action at Armentieres on 28th-29th January, 1917. He led a successful raid against the enemy's trenches, displaying great ability and coolness under very heavy fire. He has previously done fine work.
4 Oct 1917:	Involvement AIF WW1, Captain, 37th Infantry Battalion, Broodseinde Ridge
12 Oct 1917:	Involvement AIF WW1, Captain, 37th Infantry Battalion, 1st Passchendaele
29 Mar 1918:	Wounded AIF WW1, Captain, 37th Infantry Battalion, German Spring Offensive 1918, GSW to left knee (fractured) sustained at Morlancourt. Evacuated to UK. Never rejoined unit.
4 Nov 1918:	Discharged AIF WW1, Captain, 37th Infantry Battalion, RTA 23 July 1918 and discharged as MU (wounds).
