Ivy was the daughter of Evelyn Edward Robbins and Marion Robbins nee Hendry.
In 1936 Ivy married Woodford Harris Patchell.
The following information is provided by Australian Nurses in World War 1 -
Ivy enlisted as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 22.5.1917 and embarked on 12.6.1917 from Melbourne per "Mooltan" and saw service in Salonika and England. Ivy returned to Australia on 1.7.1919 per "Karmala" On Duty and was Discharged 17.9.1919.
