Son of John Francis Nordberg and Clara Victoria Nordberg nee Trinnick of 2 Newtown Parade, Moonee Ponds, Victoria. Brother of Alfred Robert Nordberg, Alice May Nordberg, Arthur E. Nordberg, Frank Gustave Nordberg who returned to Australia on 9 December 1918 having served with the 8th Battalion and Minnie Victoria Nordberg
