Alexander was the son of Thomas Ireland and Emily Bully.
World War 1 Service - Enlisted 7.7.1917 - Discharged 23.8.1919
Served in Bombay. Mentioned in Despatches - Medals British War Medal & Victory Medal.
In 1920 Alexander married Sister Emily Pauline Cherry.
