29 March 1918 - Doctor wrote that Harry was unfit for further service due to on going hwalth issues

24 September 1918 - Returned to Australia on board Devon

His address, and that of his young son,at  the time od enlistment was c/- Mrs Lobb of Charles Street, Kensington SA.Newspaper notices at the time of his death were placed by TPI and the Boer War Veterans Association. His name doed not appear on the Boer War Australian Nominal Roll.  He served with the Imperial Yeomanry, British Forces in Africa for 15 months during the Boar War.
