Trafalgar Wittwer was the son of Heinrich Gottlieb Wittwer and Alwine Bertha Gallasch.
He was born on the 2nd of July, 1894.
He became a baker, and on Monday the 3rd of September, 1917, he joined the army. His service number was 63965.
When he enlisted he was 6 feet 71/4 Inches – which was very tall for his time.
He was in the army training as as medic until the 5th of June, 1918, when he embarked on the ship, Orontes.
In the army he was a medic.
He returned home after the war and continued doing the military program as a medic for the military forces until the 1st of March, 1927, when he was discharged.
In 1920 he married Gertrude Isabel HAHN.
He resumed his job as a baker in Hahndorf until he died in 1978.
