James was born in Jimboomba 14th October 1889. He died 1st October 1919 and is buried in the Sherwood Cemetery Brisbane.
After the war he along with his Brother Francis went to Comet and acquired a grazing property "Lurline".
Lindsay was awarded the Military Cross. This is recorded in his file at the Logan Village Museum
He is listed on the Jimboomba Honour Board, the Beaudesert War Memorial Discovering ANZACs And the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll as his family are pioneers of the District.
