Mr. Leslie Norman Hebden, late of the 7th Machine Gun Company A.I.F., who died on Wednesday, was a totally and permanently disable limbless soldier.  He had been ill for many years, and he had patiently and courageously born his affliction uncomplainingly.  Because of illness he retired from the staff of the Queensland National Bank two and a half years ago, after 25 years' service.  At one time Mr Hebden was secretary of the Coorparoo sub-branch of the R.S.S.I.L.A.   He is survived by his wife, one sone, Keith and a adaughter Stephanie.
