FOR OUR SOLDIERS.
Rev. O. C. Esperson, of St. Andrew's Church, Alvie, has been appointed chaplain to the A.I.F., and will leave Australia early next month. The Rev. gentleman has already seen active service as a stretcher bearer, and knowing now necessary it is to keep the soldier;s mind occupied during the long sea voyage, will be very grateful for gifts of books, magazines, games, etc.. for use on the transport. Mr D. J. Mclntosh has offered to receive and pack all such gifts, which the public are asked to leave with him at Messrs J.G. Johnstone and Co's. office, Murray street, Colac.
