Son of James Urquhart and Christian Urquhart ned Lyon of Stawell, Victoria. Originally Stawell was founded as Pleasant Creek.
Next of Kin given as his sisiter Eleanor Urquart of Stawell, Victoria.
20 March 1916 - enlisted at Ararat, Victoria, with the 39th Battalion and with the rank of Private.
11 October 1918 - promoted to Lance Corporal
30 April 1919 - commenced return to Australia aboard HT Karagola disembarking on 12 June 1919
