Augustus Rokesky embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT A55 Kyarra on the 17/11/1916.
He was admitted to the ship's Hospital at sea.Augustus disembarked at Plymouth on the 30/1/1917 and was admitted to the 4th Southern General Hospital,England.
He was diagnosed with Phthisis(Pulmonary tuberculosis). On the 23/2/1917 Augustus was transferred to 3rd Aux Hospital Dartford. On the 7/5/1917 he was discharged to depot Weymouth.
On the 25/6/1917 young Augustus was discharged from the AIF. Augustus was 27 at the time and was dealing with a major health issue.
He returned to Australia and died in 11/11/67.
