Frederick's story
Frederick Daniel Dicker was the son of Charlotte Dicker (nee Field) and Alfred H Dicker. He was a clicker by trade before he enlisted (i.e. cut out the leather uppers in boot making). Frederick was born in 1888, the the fourth of nine children and grew up in Collingwood. He was married at the time of enlistment (to Annie).
