Enlisted into the 7th Reinforcements of the 10th Battalion.

Transferred to the 48th Battalion.

George Angus spent a lot of time in hospital with gastro enteric problems  which began shortly afterr he arrived at Gallipoli in September 1915.  He still managed to serve through some notable campaigns with each of the two famous Battalions he was assigned to;  Gallipoli with the 10th Battalion albeit briefly, and Dernancourt Ancre with the 48th.
