My Service after Vietnam
At the end of 1969 I was posted to 24 Construction Squadron at Enoggera as a Driver Cpl.1972 I was posted as a Transport Supervisor Cpl at HQ @ Field Engineer Regiment Enoggera until October 1973 I was posted to District Engineers Office Mendi PNG as a Cpl Transport Supervisor.
I was in Mendi until October 1975 then posted to SME Casula as a Cpl Transport Supervisor. Two years later I went back to Mendi as a Cpl Transport Supervisor the unit name was then Provincial Engineers Office. May 1978 I was promoted to Sgt and the unit name changed again to 19CE Wks.
Jan 1981 I was posted to 21 Const Sqn at Puckapunyal and promoted to WO2 Jan 1983 then posted to 22 Const Sqn Perth until the end of 1985 I was then posted to 20 Div Engr Support Sqn Enoggera for 12 months. I then went on 12 months long service leave at half pay until the end of 1987. I was then posted to SME lat 1987 until May 1988 when I took my discharge after 20 years and a few months service.
