Bill has had a personal computer since 1983 working on stockbroking accounting and investment portfolio analysis. He was closely associated with the introduction of stockbroker and stock exchange computer programmes.

For the last twenty years I have been involved in digital photography, particularly of old photographs.

In recent years, he has been using his computer to record and analyse army enlistments of WW2.
