Involved in a number of research projects and report writing as well as some twenty five years of family history research.

 Written some 16 Volumes of Family History.

In 2000, researched and wrote an extensive report to the Board of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust on its operations with particular emphasis on computer analysis of data, fellowship awards, selection process etc.

Over many years has written numerous policy and procedure manuals.

Computers

Bill has had a personal computer since 1983 working on stockbroking accounting and investment portfolio analysis. He was closely associated with the introduction of stockbroker and stock exchange computer programmes.

For the last twenty years I have been involved in digital photography, particularly of old photographs.

In recent years, he has been using his computer to record and analyse army enlistments of WW2.
