Charles Lennard was born in Naracoorte SA on 17 Jan 1910 to Hughie James Lennard and Edith Emily. He was married to Lillian Ethyl Lock in Naracoorte. After the war he was employed by Works and building Department in Mount Gambier. He was crushed to death between two railway carriages while they were shunting on 15 Oct 1947. His funeral was held at Saint Paul's Naracoorte. Funeral Notice in Naracoorte Herald in 1947 and a yearly memorial in the Naracoorte Herald from his family for at least the next five years. He was my great Uncle and I have been documenting him as a part of my family history. Darryl Neil
