Neville Richard Madden who was a Corporal in the Royal Australian Engineers posted aboard AS 3051 John Monash and was in Vietnam in Feb-March and Nov 1969. The John Monash was a 1400 ton conventional cargo vessel used alongside Landing Crafts called LSMs (Landing Ships Medium) to on and offload Centurion Tanks, troops, heavy machinery and supplies.
