Sergeant Kevin Harry Lewis (Service No:42647) served in the Australian Army with the Royal Australian Medical Corps, and was attached to 161 Independent (Reconnaissance) Flight in the Vietnam War (10 September 1969 - 10 September 1970).
Kevin was born at Port Lincoln, South Australia in 1928, sixth of seven children oh Harry King Lewis (b1889 at Port Broughton, South Australia) and Eva Christina Ivy Blanche Morris (b1898 in Keith, South Australia). Harry served in WWI, and in 1919 he and Eva married in Port lincoln, where they settled and raised their family and Harry worked as a Mason's Labourer and Railway Ganger. Haryy and Eva divorced in 1946.
Kevin was in Adelaide n the early 1950's when he married Daphne Anne Hilda Leane-Silva (b1931 in Adelaide, South Australia). Daphne died in 1988 and Kevin in 2000.
